Unaico Merits FAQ
The new Unaico Merits program that was launched 1st of February has been extremely well received from the Network. Several questions have been raised though and therefore this FAQ will help to clarify what Merits are.
1) What are these 'Merits'?
A Member will be awarded Merits by:
- Achieving the Bronze level in the compensation plan = 75 merits
- Achieving the Gold level in the compensation plan = 500 Merits
2) What can I use them for?
They are strictly for use within a member's Unaico business for redemption against incentives and promotions at the company's discretion. For example, the Merits can be exchanged for share options of SiteTalk once SiteTalk is listed.
3) What value do the Merits have?
One Merit has a redeemable value of approximately 2 €. That means that upon achieving the Bronze level, the Member can redeem promotions/incentives for approximately 150 €. And upon achieving the Gold level, the Member can redeem promotions/incentives for approximately 1000 Euros.
4) What sort of incentives and promotions?
The company will launch the first redeemable promotions on the event in Hungary in May. There will be advantageous incentives and promotions, such as lifestyle awards, company incentives, SiteTalk products as well as recognition programmes with high value lifestyle benefits. Once SiteTalk is listed, a Member will also be able to redeem the Merits for SiteTalk Share options.
5) When will my Merits be displayed online?
During the week commencing February 27th the Merits will start to be displayed in your Unaico Member Back Office.
6) How many Merits will be issued?
There is a set amount of Merits that will be issued and the promotion may be ended at any given time, but with a minimum of one week’s notice.
7) Who is this Promotion available for?
This recognition programme is available for all Bronze or Gold Unaico Members.
We wish you great success and we are looking forward to rewarding as many Members with as many Merits as possible.
As of 1st January 2012, Members with Australian IP addresses will be able to sign up as
SiteTalk Members and they will then receive their free Unaico Membership, but they will not
be able to upgrade their Membership until the 11th day following registration. This is in order
to abide by new regulations introduced in Australia.

Please note that while it is no longer necessary for you to have completed the KYC process in
order to login to your back office, all Members are still required to complete their personal
KYC process as soon as possible by visiting www.KYC4U.com. Starting January 2012,
Members who have not yet completed their KYC process will no longer be able to access
back office functions. The www.KYC4U.com website is continuously being updated and
refined as we learn ways to improve this process.
Thank you for your leadership in helping Unaico Members in your team to complete the KYC process. Following are answers to some of the more common Questions that have been received by our Customer Service staff. Hopefully these answers will be of assistance to you as you help guide Members through this process.
Q - After submitting my KYC application, how long will it take to get KYC approval (provided all the documents and information is submitted correctly)?
A - This is a large process for us and we expect that it will take many weeks for the KYC team to review and approve this documentation. We have not yet started the approval process. As soon as we do, we will be able to give a time-frame.
Q - What is the last date for submitting KYC documents?
A - All KYC applications should be submitted by 29th February 2012
Q - After I have submitted my KYC application, I get the message "Approval status of individual: Verifying", what does this mean?
A - This means that your application has been received and is ready for being reviewed.
Q - Is it required that the name and address on the "photo ID" and the "proof of address" should match?
A - The name must match on both documents, but it is not required that the address matches.
Q - My "proof of address" document is more than 3 months old. Will that be OK to submit?
A - The "proof of address" document should NOT be older than 3 months.
Q - My documents for submission are not in English language. Can I still submit these?
A - Yes - you may submit documents in your native language. However, the KYC4U website fields must be completed in English language and characters.
Q - Are hand-written documents acceptable?
A - Hand-written documents are not acceptable for the KYC process.
Q - My ID card does not have any expiry date. What shall I write in the expiry date field?
A - Expiry date of your "photo ID" is not a compulsory field so you may leave it blank.
Q - If I do not have a bill in my name what other document can I upload?
A - The KYC process will also accept any bank account statement or official government letter on letterhead that displays your name and address.
Q - How can I submit KYC for a company?
A - The KYC process requires Certificate of incorporation and Memorandum & Articles of Association, or Certificate of Ultimate Beneficial Owner for a company. If a Partnership, Trust or Foundation, then Registration certificate, Partnership Deed or Certificate of Ultimate Beneficial Owner will be adequate.
Q - Why do I need to pay €20 for the KYC process?
A - Unaico is using an external company to do this KYC process. The €20 fee per personal account charged is to pay the external company for this administration. This amount will be debited from your Unaico online account.
Q - If I link 4 other accounts to my personal account, do I have to pay €20 for each account or only once?
A - You will only ever pay the €20 once and that is only for your personal account only, and not for any accounts linked to you personal account.
Q - What if I don't have any money on my Unaico online account. How would I be able to pay this €20 KYC fee?
A - Your Unaico online account will still be debited and will go into negative. Please note that upon OFC conversion, accounts in minus will not take part in the conversion.
Q - I have tried to link my other account using "Link to Personal Account" function in KYC4U website but it is not working?
A - First you must complete the KYC for your Personal Account. Then you must log in to the other accounts you are administering and put the details of your Personal Account in the "Link to Personal Account" page.
Q - Can I link my relative’s account to my account if we don’t live at the same address?
A – Yes you can link any account that you have permission to administer to your Personal Account.
Q - I have made a mistake when linking accounts. Can I unlink this to correct this?
A - Yes you may unlink accounts and re-link in the correct manner if you have made a mistake. Log onto your Personal Account and then delete the incorrectly linked account/s. Then return to those accounts and link them to the correct Personal Account.
Q - I am a basic member and I do not have any OFC in my account. Do I need to do KYC, and if not, will I still be able to access my account in the future?
A - All activated Unaico Members must complete the KYC process.
Q - Is it possible to sell a position after KYC process is done?
A - Yes this is still possible and according to normal procedures.
Q - Is it possible to change email address during KYC process?
A - Yes this is still possible, but please first change in your Member backoffice according to normal procedures, and the change on the KYC pages.
Q - Can I cancel or correct the KYC if, for example, I put in wrong documents or uploaded the KYC on the wrong account?
A - You may have time to cancel if the verification process has not yet started. A button will soon appear that will allow you to cancel.
Q - Will I be contacted if there is an issue with my KYC?
A - Yes you will eventually be contacted if there is an issue with your KYC application.
Q - If I made changes on the account on the KYC page, will they be changed in the Unaico back office as well?
A - No these are stand-alone systems. Please make sure you make any updates to contact details in your Unaico Member Backoffice before submitting your KYC.
Q - If I now refer a new Member that purchases for example, a Gold Advantage package, do they need to submit the KYC as well, direct after they sign up?
A - Yes they will need to do this, and they should do this shortly after signing up.
Q - What is the difference between the “Save” and “Submit” buttons?
A - The “Save” button allows you to save individual steps and pages you have completed. The “Submit” button will send your final data submission to the KYC team once you have completed your work and have pressed “Submit”.

After the great success of the first phase of the 1BV program, it is now time to launch phase 2! It will take place on the week commencing on the 20th of August and here is some more information about this promotion.
About the program
Similar to the first phase of the program, the second phase aims to stimulate activity on SiteTalk and to increase the active user base. Every active SiteTalk user will for this promotion generate 1 BV every week and this program will benefit the active Unaico members.
How does the promotion work?
For every SiteTalk user that you, or any other member in your SiteTalk/Unaico network, personally have invited/sponsored to SiteTalk using your/their referral username, www.sitetalk.com/username, the program will generate 1 BV for each week they are classified active on SiteTalk.
Promotion
As an active Unaico Business Member you can earn commission for the “1 BV Promotion” on active SiteTalk users in your network. You will receive 10% of the accumulated BV in your lesser network team every week.
Example: You have 1000 active SiteTalk users in your lesser network team. This equals 1000 BV. You will then earn 10% of 1000 BV = 100€.
During the second phase of the 1 BV promotion, there is a cap for the weekly bonus generated from the 1 BV program:
Basic members: 100€/week
Bronze members: 250€/week
Gold members: 1000€/week
The 1 BV Promotion Bonus is capped by your normal weekly network team bonus cap. It can help you reach the cap, but it will not pay you beyond the normal weekly network team bonus cap. BVs from the 1 BV promotion do not count towards your Unaico recognition levels. A member will only be paid for one SiteTalk/Unaico account.
To qualify
In order to have the BV, accumulated through the “1 BV promotion”, credited to your network, you have to be an active user of SiteTalk yourself. The Business Volume generated for the week will be visible in your Unaico back office at the start of the following week.
Please note that the “1BV Promotion” is a PROMOTION and can be enhanced, altered or withdrawn at the discretion of the company at anytime.
Practical facts for Unaico members
The purpose of the program is to encourage people to come in and take advantage of the features of SiteTalk. A challenge we faced in the first phase was shortsightedness, where several members took advantage of the program and got rewarded despite the fact that they were not generating members with real usage. We saw a number of one-time users, who never logged on more than once a week, and that people created fake accounts only to generate 1 BV. We will seek to rectify these issues in this second phase, as the program is supposed to benefit all users that really are using the site. So help and educate your network and user base in real usage.
SiteTalk is a great tool that can be used to create groups for your network to socialize and spread information. You can connect with your leaders in your network, no matter where they are in the world, and motivate and inspire on a daily basis. Your fantasy is the only limitation to what you can do with SiteTalk. Find great ways to use it and educate others in doing the same thing. Unaico is meanwhile creating new products and services to be launched on SiteTalk, and when that happens, that is when you want a large real user base. That is where the big rewards will come.
There is a number of ways to show activity and use SiteTalk:

These are but a few of the ways to be active on SiteTalk. All users that use SiteTalk regularly and with some or all the above will be credited as active. The basic idea is simple – by showing real activity and usage, you will increase the value for the entire company, and you will take part of this value.
Objective
Our long term goal with the 1 BV program is that it will be a value driven ongoing promotion where Unaico members can max out with only users on SiteTalk. That will be in a later phase, but in order for this to happen we will add several new services and products that can be used and purchased on SiteTalk. This, in combination with real users having SiteTalk as their major form of communication for some or all areas of their social network, will give us all a valid and profitable business model. But in order to get there, we will launch the 1 BV program phase by phase. This phase is to educate the users to increase their usage of SiteTalk and tell others to do the same.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
ELIGIBILITY
• The “1 BV promotion” is open to all members who are over the age of 18 years.
TIMING
• The promotion runs monthly from August 20th 2011 until such time as the company deems that the promotion requires a period of reflection and possible modification and update based on the needs of the site.
• These terms and conditions shall be deemed to apply to all qualifiers in the incentive scheme from August 20th, 2011. Continued participation in the promotion constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
PAYMENT
• The bonus for the 1 BV promotion will be paid out one week after the finalization of each promotion week. This is to allow Unaico Limited time to verify the data and eradicate any manipulation. All BVs for the promotion displayed in the back office are therefore seen as preliminary until the payment of bonus has been done.
GENERAL
• Unaico Limited reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this incentive
scheme at any time without notice and the participants shall be bound to such changes.
• You are only able to join from the market you are resident in. Any other registrations will not be allowed.
• Unaico Limited reserves the right to remove any users who cause any of sitetalk.com or unaico.com features to overuse or any action of a similar disruptive effect.
• Unaico Limited reserves the right to disqualify users suspected of fraud (fake email, fake KYC etc.) and/or users using offensive language, imagery or content. These users will be disqualified from participating and getting rewards at any point of the 1 BV promotion.
• Unaico Limited reserves the right to remove any users suspected of foul play, such as tampering with or hacking any part of the site, during the entire duration of the 1 BV promotion.
• If, for any reason, the promotion is not capable of running as planned due to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Unaico Limited, with the result that it corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Unaico Limited reserves the right at our sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
• In the unlikely event of any dispute, the decision of Unaico Limited shall be final. No correspondence shall be entered into.
• Participants in this promotion agree that Unaico Limited will have no liability whatsoever for
any injuries, losses, costs, damage or disappointment of any kind resulting in whole or in
part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse from participation in this promotion.
• Unaico Limited is not to be held responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information,
whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the
incentive or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of rewards.
• Any attempt by a participant or any other individual to deliberately damage or undermine
the legitimate operation of this promotion could be considered a violation of local criminal
and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Unaico Limited reserves the right to seek

rankings. This places us higher than some of the largest companies in the direct selling industry.
We have paid out millions of 1BV commissions in the seven weeks of the promotion’s phase 1, and we are delighted to have done so.
The promotion grabbed the imagination of hundreds of thousands and the activity levels went through the roof. We totally under-estimated the power the promotion would have and also the pressure this would create on our systems and IT architecture. It high-lighted problems we have never had before and has acted as an amazing stress-testing exercise for all of our operations.
We have learned an incredible amount about our strengths and weaknesses. Some of it good. Some of it not so good.
One of the challenges highlighted by it all is that we had inadequacies in the area of
verification and fraud prevention. People have taken advantage of the promotion and through the creation of fake accounts have sought to profiteer and gain rewards without adding any value what so ever.
Frankly, one of the things it has taught us is about the pressure created by merging a social network and direct selling opportunity, and we have to scale up and ramp up our Member Support and IT infra-structure accordingly.
We now need to go back the drawing board, take onboard all that it has taught us, improve our systems and processes, implement and plan, scale up human and IT resources, and get ready for phase 2 of the 1BV promotion. There will also be a fair amount of cleaning up of issues and challenges created over the last seven weeks, and we would ask you for your continued patience. Our thinking about this is to use similar dynamics to reward the creation of SiteTalk communities, but this time give you tools and techniques to really drive it, and drive it without the challenges you will have experienced in the last few weeks.
This is not a process that will be measured in a few short days, but certainly weeks. We anticipate that the next phase will roll out within eight weeks, but we will keep you posted.
One of our key learnings is that communication was probably our greatest failure – we will not let that happen again.

The 1 BV Promotion is an incentive programme initiated by Unaico Holding to increase and support new users to the SiteTalk.com platform. The Basics
For every SiteTalk user that you personally have invited to the platform using your referral username: www.sitetalk.com/username, the programme rewards you with 1BV point for each ACTIVE SiteTalk member every week. This means, that 1BV will be put into the compensation run for every ACTIVE Member you have in your SiteTalk Network.
In order for you to take advantage of the 1 BV Promotion, you yourself are required to have the “active” status on SiteTalk.
As a Free SiteTalk user, you will be rewarded SiteTalk Credit, with 5% of 1 BV on your
personally referred/invited SiteTalk Members every week as long as they maintain the
ACTIVE for that week.
Example: You have personally referred 10 SiteTalk members that are Active on SiteTalk. That equals 10BV points, you receive 5% of 10BV = 0,5€.
Notes:
A Free SiteTalk member will in the near future be able to use SiteTalk Credit (STC) for products and services hosted by SiteTalk. To qualify for getting SiteTalk Credit you need ACTIVE status on your profile. A free SiteTalk member can only be rewarded SiteTalk Credit from personally referred members.
